Orders will be shipped late March and continue through April. Actual ship date will depend on planting zone and when the tubers show a viable eye.

All dahlia tubers sold here are grown organically on my farm in Catawba, NC. I guarantee each tuber has a live eye and is in good planting condition. I take photos of tubers before boxing and provide enough shipping protection to ensure safe delivery. However, I cannot replace tubers that are not properly cared for once planted.

Problems with orders must be emailed to lisa@lemontreenc.com within 3 days of delivery. Photos must be included.

Tubers cannot be left out to dry, never placed in direct water or sunlight, or planted when there is threat of frost or freeze. Tubers are best stored in slightly moistened vermiculite at a temperature between 40 and 50 degrees, or potted with temperatures kept under 65 degrees to let them pre-sprout. Never place tubers on an unregulated heat mat or over water, they will rot.

Please do your research! Dahlias rot easily in poor draining soil, need lots of full sun and require some type of staking. For a full tutorial on how I grow dahlias, please reference my article, Growing Dahlias in the South: A Starters Guide.
